BRIEF

DASH Water launched their new Orange Sparkling Water and wanted to celebrate, so enlisted the help of One Events. The activation needed to reflect DASH’s personality, brand image, and bring the sunshine to an otherwise rainy city. They were presented with an unmissable opportunity to get their brand new product in the hands of their target audience and see their real-time reaction to it.

PROCESS

With the client brief in front of mind, our creative team began ideating activation concepts, eventually settling on the big idea of ‘Big Orange Energy’. We designed and wrapped an airstream in complete DASH Water branding. To transform Manchester’s Spinningfields into the site of a radiant activation, reminiscent of a warm day, we added orange trees, garden tables and chairs, and wonky benches to create a welcoming environment for passersby to sit and sip the sunshine. This summer scene became the perfect backdrop for UGC and professionally captured content.

Results

Feedback from the client reaffirmed our choice of Manchester as the host city. The activation boosted DASH Water’s presence in the North West, and the people of Manchester were engaged, interested and excited by the entire activation, and loved DASH Water’s new flavour. The entire activation was a roaring success with over 2,000 DASH Water Orange cans handed out to the people of Manchester.
